SPOILER FREE REVIEW:
GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE

So much love of the source material injected into one film it almost crosses the streams and blows a hole in the space time continuum.

Afterlife, the latest offering in the Ghostbusters 'franchise' (I hate that term), is in many ways a love letter to the original movies.  Here you will find many call-backs, plot points and characters that take you back to the original with 'member-berry' laden scenes that will have fans smiling and reminiscing about the days (basically the 1980s) when there were truly original and exciting things happening on the silver screen.
What is good  - The chemistry between the young cast is great and Paul Rudd stands out as he effortlessly encourages you to like him all over again.
What could be better - Some of the cameos were a little shorter than I wanted them to be.  I would have liked to see some of the main men with a little more screen time.
What was not good - The film was a little slow in places and I felt the characters took a long time to figure out simple, straightforward conundrums.  Plus, certain characters seemed to take the existence of ghosts in their stride.  I'm not sure I would react to the "chess match" in the same way that one character does.
What was awesome: This film has wiped the 2016 film out of existence and we shall never have to speak of it again.
Respect is due for this alone!
